My Easy 10 Minute Makeup Routine
Everyone loves and quick and easy makeup routine, right?
I love trying out different makeup, I find it so easy to just try out new colors and textures.
New products are exciting to me… anyone else?
So, when I am running late or just need something easy I always follow this same routine!
Now let’s see how bad I am explaining what I do (: I will also try to get an IG video up of this.
Primer: Elf Putty Primer
This one is simple. just use as much as you think you need. Some days when my skin feels like a little bit more dry I’ll use a little more.
Eye Shadow: Tartiest Pro Amazonian Clay
I always like to do my eye shadow first so if I get any on my face I can brush it away and not mess up my foundation. So I cover my whole lid with a mix of Classic & Vintage and I go in with No Filter on my crease and blend it all together. I than go back with a little glam across my lid just for a little sparkle.
Foundation: It Cosmetics CC Cream/ Becca Ultimate Coverage 24 Hour
For the CC Cream I use color Fair, and for the Becca Foundation I use color Linen. On the back of my hand I blend together both of these foundations and use a damp beauty blender to blot it onto my skin. I first hated the Becca foundation because the consistency is pretty thick. But, once I found a good primer for it and blended it with the CC cream, I love it. I find that it makes my skin so smooth.
Concealer: Tarte Sea Hydrocealer
Color: Porcelain Sand. My only advice with concealer will be, don’t use too much. I always see people using TONS of concealer, and at the point you are just asking for it to crease. I put three little dots going upward underneath my eyes and use the same beauty blender to blend that into my skin.
Powder: Milk Makeup Blur & Set Matte Loose Powder
Color: Light/ Translucent. Also don’t overdo it with your powder either, or you will start to look cake-y. I use just a little underneath my eyes to set that concealer and just tad on the rest of my face. I use my same damp beauty blender to set my liquid makeup.
Bronzer: Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer
So, I don’t really contour…ever. I am not sure how and I am so fair, so I am scared I will do it wrong and look crazy! So, I just use a little bronzer (I am in color Park Avenue Princess) on a brush and move in circular motions around my face just so I don’t look so so pale.
Blush: Ciate London Marbled Light Illuminating Blush
I use color: Dusk. I don’t love to do too much blush, because my cheeks are pretty rosey to begin with. I just use one swipe onto my blush brush and onto the balls of my cheeks.
Eyebrows: Tarte Amazonian Brow Mousse
I use color ash blonde. I truly don’t use too much of this either. I am very into the natural eyebrows, and I have never really done anything to mine either. So I just use this to darken and fill in the spots that are lacking.
Mascara Primer: Loreal Voluminous Conditioning Primer
Just a few swipes before you put your actual mascara on.
Mascara: Tarte Lights Camera Lashes/ Buxom Lash Volumizing Mascara
I always use a true black color. I start with the Tarte mascara, I feel like that makes my eyelashes look so so nice and full. And I swipe back over them with the Buxom mascara, this makes them look almost smooth, and super natural, and not clumpy!
Highlighter: Iconic London Illuminator/ Anastasia Glow Kit
I don’t use these two together, I use one or the other. Depends what kind of mood I am in that day. For the Iconic London, I use color original. A little goes a very long way with this one. So, make sure to start with a little and build as much as you need. For the Anastasia highlighter, I use the sugar palette and mainly use the colors starburst and the color butterscotch.
Setting Spray: Urban Decay All Nighter
And lastly for the setting spray, I just give my face a few sprays and I like to press my makeup very gently into my skin with my beauty blender!
And that is a quick and easy 10 minute makeup routine for you!
