The Best Winter Chilli Recipe
This is the best and easiest slow cooker meal you need for chilli/ soup season. It makes a decent amount, so there will be enough for you to freeze and store for later if you want!
What you’ll need:
2lbs Chicken
1 small white onion
2 cloves of garlic
1tsp cumin
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp oregano
2 cans of green chillies
1 cup salsa verde
32oz chicken stock
1 lime
Directions
Step One: Start by cutting up your garlic and onions.
Step Two: In your slow cooker throw in your garlic and onions and place your chicken breasts on top. You don’t need to cook your chicken beforehand!
Step Three: Add in all your spices, the salsa verde and the green chillies
Step Four: Throw in the white beans and chicken stock
Step Five: Set slow cooker to low for 8 hours
Once it is all done shred the chicken and add salt and lime to taste!
